Location: the hotel was close enough to the cathedral and main street, a quiet square with bars, and catedral. There was La Nueva Ruta Jacobea right by the venue. They gave me a nice size and stylish room with well functioning bathroom and a balcony, for example. A shower, toiletries and bath sheets was a plus.

I had an amazing stay at this hostal, Hostal San Martin. the room had a beautiful view and a balcony, perfect for enjoying the surroundings. the bed and chairs were comfortable, and the bathroom was bright and modern. It was also conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops, and famous landmarks such as Leon Cathedral and Basilica of San Isidoro. I highly recommend trying the best churros in town at Heladeria Confiteria, and don't miss out on the authentic olives, nuts, pan, candies. the host at the hostal was also incredibly sweet, kind, and helpful. I even borrowed a marker pen from him to write on my black stone for the Cruz de Ferro. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like. 👍.

Great location in the heart of the city, close to all the attractions and sights. Spacious and comfortable rooms with cozy beds.- Helpful and friendly staff who provided recommendations for local cuisine.
The floors in the room creaked, which was quite annoying especially at night. The toilet had an unpleasant smell that lingered throughout our stay.
